In 2019, Omar Alkilani's band, Mood Band, took part in the 26th Istanbul Caz Festival, an event organized by UNHCR Turkey. They performed alongside international acts such as the American SOUL BRASS Band from New Orleans and several Turkish musicians, highlighting their diverse musical influences and contributions to the festival's vibrant atmosphere.
