VADİ

VADİ is a single music piece blends oriental and western influences with folk & electronic textures and finally rock energy. The composition begins with an oriental and Arabic character, built around the Hijaz scale. It gradually transitions into an electronic section with a more western structure, while preserving Arabic musical identity through melodies based on maqams such as Bayati, Rast, Hijaz, Saba, alongside major and minor tonalities. In the final section, the piece shifts into the traditional “Roman Halkası” style, featuring a 9/8 rhythm, before culminating with layered rock textures that bring the journey to a powerful and energetic close.
